An innovative engineering business developing a range of cutting-edge electronic surveillance systems for extreme environments is looking to recruit a Senior Electronics Design Engineer. As a Senior Electronics Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the following:

• Design and test electronic circuit boards, including schematics design & PCB layouts.
• Development of embedded firmware for custom circuit boards
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to integrate electronics into our systems.
• Provide support for production processes, including debugging and troubleshooting.
• Working with production team to ensure a smooth transition to high volume production.

As a Senior Electronics Design Engineer, you must have the following essential skills:

• Proficiency in CAD software for electronic design (e.g., Altium or Similar).
• Strong understanding of PCB layout principles and best practices.
• Embedded systems (C++)
• Experience with debugging prototype circuit boards using test equipment.
• Ability to write technical specifications and adhere to design requirements.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Experience with FPGA development (VHDL/Verilog) and/or RF PCBs would be beneficial.
