A leading supplier within the rail sector due to ongoing success is currently looking to recruit a Senior Software Engineer. This role is one of many within the software team due to a number of large successful project awards.

As a Senior Software Engineer you’ll adopt and build on the existing portfolio of C# solutions, you work on specifying, developing and documenting software architecture from concept through to physical implementation. You will also design, develop and improve the existing GUI using C# Winforms.

To be successful in the role of Senior Software Engineer you must have experience of the following:

• Previous experience in .NET with C# and working directly with clients.
• .NET low-level device communications RS-232/422/485 protocols and Ethernet, TCP/IP.
• You must have knowledge of building software from concept UML level through to verification.
• Experience of network topology and secure integration solutions
• You should also have experience in unit and functional testing.

Any experience within rail signalling/interlocking would be highly desirable although not essential.
