A leader in developing cutting-edge lidar technology are currently looking for an Electronics Design Engineer to join their R&D team.

This role involves developing new products, refining sensing technology, and supporting the industrialisation process.

As an Electronics Design Engineer you will be responsible for:

• Design and implement electronic solutions for R&D activities.
• Assemble, test, and document systems.
• Support qualification and regulatory testing phases.
• Provide electronics support to subcontract manufacturing.
• Collaborate with the technical and business organisation.

As an Electronics Design Engineer you must have experience of the following:

• Demonstrable electronics design experience.
• Proficiency in CAD software (Altium preferred).
• Experience with low-noise analog circuits and power supply design and design for EMC compliance
• Strong electronics debug and fault-finding skills.
• Software knowledge and ability to write basic software programs.
• Degree or equivalent experience in Electronic Engineering.

Any experience of the following would be highly desirable:

• Project management experience.
• Experience with FPGA design and VHDL.
• Experience with opto-electronic products, cameras, lasers, or Lidar systems.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and CE-marking.
