Acoustics Research Scientist

A multi award winning med tech start up are currently recruiting for an Acoustics Research Scientist, this organisation has developed a contactless system that automatically monitors a range of symptoms and air quality metrics.

They are at an exciting growth phase – expanding overseas and laying the technological foundations on which their products will be based for years to come.

Acoustics Research Scientist Requirements:

• MSc or PhD in electrical engineering, DSP, biomedical engineering, physics or related fields.
• Digital signal processing of acoustic signals
• Frequency content and spectrum analysis with a solid understanding f the different sources of noise, signal degradation and techniques to extract meaning from raw noisy signals.
• Machine Learning models (SVM, random forest, XGB)
• Deep Learning models (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras)
• Highly proficient in Python

Any experience working within the healthcare or medtech environment would be highly desirable.

Benefits and Salary:

• Basic Salary: £60,000 – £80,000
