Embedded Software Engineer

A multi award winning med tech start up are currently recruiting for an Embedded Software Engineer, this organisation has developed a contactless system that automatically monitors a range of air quality metrics.

They are at an exciting growth phase – expanding overseas and laying the technological foundations on which their products will be based for years to come.

As an Embedded Software Engineer:

You’ll design and develop a robust embedded software solution for an IoT device running on embedded linux, including full OS build, configuration and bootloader customisation.

You’ll also integrate and optimise signal processing and machine learning algorithms while also addressing security requirements to ensure the data and IP is secure.

To be successful in the role of Embedded Software Engineer you must have the following:

• BSc, MSc or PhD in Electronics Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent).
• Proficiency in programming languages: C/C++, C# or Python.
• Solid background with Linux OS at driver development level. Experience with some other RTOS a bonus.
• Familiarity with Big Data and Machine Learning algorithms and have a good understanding of IoT architecture and principles.

Benefits and Salary:

• Basic Salary: £55,000 – £75,000
